At Global IT School , we aim to provide a transparent and hassle-free refund process for our users. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase or encounter issues, you may request a refund under the terms outlined below. Please note that all refunds are subject to the transaction fees charged by SSLCommerz , as these fees are included in the course fee and cannot be recovered once the payment is processed.

Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

    • Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the payment date.
  2. Class Attendance:
    • You must not have attended any live or recorded classes associated with the course.
  3. Course Content Usage:
    • You must not have accessed or downloaded any course materials, videos, or resources.
  4. Transaction Fees Deduction:
    • The transaction fees charged by SSL Commerz will be deducted from the refunded amount. These fees vary depending on the payment method used, as per the structure below:

How to Request a Refund

If you meet the eligibility criteria, follow these steps to request a refund:

    • Provide your registered email address and phone number used during the purchase.
  2. Submit Details:
    • Our support team will guide you through the process and send a form via SMS or email to officially submit your refund request.
    • Include details about the issue (e.g., technical problems, mistaken purchase, or unmet promises) to help us verify your claim.
  3. Verification Process:
    • Once your request is received, your access to the course will be temporarily suspended while we review your case.
    • You will receive a confirmation via SMS or email with a unique Support Ticket ID to track the status of your request.

When Will a Refund Be Applicable?

Refunds will be granted in the following scenarios:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to access the course due to technical problems on our platform despite having a stable internet connection.
  • Incorrect Purchase: If you mistakenly purchased the wrong course or format (e.g., live class instead of recorded sessions).
  • Unmet Promises: If Global IT School fails to deliver the resources or services promised in the course description.

When Will a Refund Not Be Applicable?

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • If the refund request is submitted after 3 days of purchase.
  • If you have attended any live or recorded classes.
  • If you have downloaded course materials or interacted extensively with the course content (e.g., quizzes, assignments).
  • For e-books or subscription-based courses where classes have already commenced.
  • If the issue arises due to external factors, such as internet outages or device malfunctions unrelated to our platform.

What Happens After You Request a Refund?

  1. Temporary Lock:
    • Once your refund request is submitted, your access to the course will be temporarily suspended to prevent further usage.
  2. Verification Timeline:
    • Our team will review your request and notify you of the outcome within 3 working days via SMS or email.
  3. Refund Processing:
    • Approved refunds will deduct the applicable SSL Commerz transaction fees from the total course fee.
    • The remaining amount will be processed within 7-10 working days and returned to the original payment method (via SSL Commerz).
    • If the original payment method is unavailable, refunds may be issued as a voucher for future use on our platform.
  4. Confirmation:
    • You will receive a confirmation message via SMS or email once the refund has been successfully processed.

Example Calculation of Refund Amount

Let’s assume you paid BDT 1,000 for a course using a Visa card. Here’s how the refund amount would be calculated:

  • Transaction Fee (2.50%): BDT 1,000 × 2.50% = BDT 25
  • Refundable Amount: BDT 1,000 – BDT 25 = BDT 975

The final refund amount of BDT 975 will be credited to your original payment method.

Additional Notes

  • Re-enrollment: If your refund is approved, your progress in the course will be removed. To re-enroll, you will need to start the course from the beginning.
  • Policy Updates: Global IT School reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
